A little local perspective
Where are you meeting at Dicky Beach?
Dicky Beach Park is on Beerburrum Street, with a skate park, playground and off-street parking. The surf club and patrol tower are on Coochin Street. Agree which place you mean before driving over.
1
The park on Beerburrum Street

2
The surf club on Coochin Street
If you're meeting at the surf club or patrol tower, check directions to Coochin Street. 'Dicky Beach' alone may lead you to a different spot.
3
Changing the meeting point
If plans change while you're on the way, find somewhere safe to stop before checking the new address. Don't try to sort it out while driving.
For parents and supervising drivers
Ask what the learner is working on and how practice between lessons can support it. A licence is the milestone; safe driving for life is the bigger picture.
