A true hero, I am a semi experienced driver yet Noel Lawson was a great instructor. Not only did he thoroughly help me perfect my faults but he was a great mentor on driving in general. As I was a beginner driver, I wasn’t sure which driving school to go with, however I stumbled across RAC School of Motoring and it was honestly the best choice that I’ve ever made. Not only was Glen my instructor helpful at all times, but he made me feel comfortable and safe whilst we were doing our lessons. Glen is awesome! I've been driving for a while and wanted to get my manual licence. I asked Glen to treat me like a new driver so he could correct any bad habits I have. Glen is very cool, calm and made me feel very comfortable. His car is very new so that was great. I received my lesson as a gift voucher and it was so easy to book online. I'd highly recommend RAC to everyone; whether you are a first time driver or have been driving for a while and want to update your skills. I'll be using them when my Son gets his learners.

Thanks to RAC school of motoring. Stuart has been really wonderful in helping me getting through my bookings for exam. My instructor Faiyaz has been extremely understanding and encouraging. I have finally been able to get my QLD permanent license from my previous international drivers licence. Not only is Faiyaz a great driving instructor, he is also extremely patient and would provide me with easy tips to perfect my driving. He goes above and beyond the clients needs in his training. Noel Lawson was a great instructor.
I'm a nervous driver but Noel was good humoured, knowledgeable and patient.
I wasn't just taught to pass the test, which I did first go! but also how to be a good, safe and considerate driver on the road.
Even close to my test, Noel would focus on points that would make me a better driver, I appreciated his high standards.

He is punctual, and 15 minutes early most times, so be ready!

I would definitely recommend Noel if you want to learn good driving habits.

First of all, id like to say, I’m a mature age student with severe anxiety.
I had a 3 hour session with Joel the day before I went for my test, and miraculously ended up passing my test the following day.
Joel was so patient with me, didn’t force me into anything I wouldn’t comfortable doing, and let me take my own pace. I hate being rushed. It only makes my anxiety worse.
When I went to Joel I was quite a wreck. I wasn’t even aware that some round about had two lanes.
I had only logged 20 hours with my mum, and 5 hours total with professional instructors.
So I was absolutely gobsmacked that I passed the test the first time, and in an area I had never driven in before.
Joel taught me everything they ask you to perform on the test, and Paul gave me some great tips on the phone too.
I never in a million years expected to pass first go.
That should be a testimony to how great RAC school of motoring is.
I’m still planning on continuing lessons with Joel, finances have just been a little tight, but once I’m back on my feet, I’ll be booking some more lessons to focus more on reverse parking and confidence in general.

The best driving school I have met! I booked two hours lesson and protest lesson before I had my road practical test. Paul is very nice and gives me key points on how to increase my driving skills. Paul’s very busy so I had some problems to book his pretest lesson but the driving school helped me to adjust his schedule and he stayed with me for the whole test and gave me confidence and encouraged me achieve my goal. I past my test just one try! Really recommend this school to you. Good service and best teacher!

Excellent driving school for many reasons. Firstly, RAC has friendly office staff that make booking lessons/tests very easy. RAC also have fantastic instructors. For myself, I had Noel who is a very experienced and knowledgeable driver trainer. Noel successfully helped me upgrade from an automatic to a manual license. Overall, the RAC school of motoring has the students best interests at heart.
